IBAK coaching driven by a genuine passion for sport

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 5: Uncovering and nurturing talent in sports is always a challenge, but Indian Badminton Association of Kuwait (IBAK) coaching excels at it with remarkable flair. Renowned for producing exceptional players who progress to compete at state and national levels in badminton, IBAK coaching is driven by a genuine passion for the sport.

Throughout the year, IBAK hosts various tournaments, with the Assessment Tournament being one of the most eagerly anticipated by its students. On August 30, IBAK held its Coaching Assessment Tournament in Salwa, offering students a platform to showcase the skills they’ve developed over the year.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from all coaching kids, and their impressive performances delighted the spectators in attendance, including many parents, adding a special touch to the event.

Competitors, ranging from as young as 5 years old, participated in various categories such as U10 Boys Singles, U13 Boys Singles, U13 Boys Singles – Advanced, U13 Girls Singles, U13 Girls Singles – Advanced, U16 Boys Singles, U16 Boys Singles – Advanced, U16 Girls Singles, and U16 Girls Singles – Advanced. Outstanding performers were recognized, and winners received trophies, medals, and certificates.

Heartfelt thanks go to IBAK Chairman Dr. Manimaran Chozhan and all IBAK Committee members, coordinators, and dedicated coaching staff for their crucial roles in making this tournament a resounding success.

Any Sport requires periodic assessment of one’s physical state, fitness & mental capabilities, readiness as well as improvements brought about over a period of time. Regular tournaments and competition can best achieve the results as outlined above. Tournaments also provide for a platform through which a player can advance from novice level to higher levels. They also provide an avenue for Interaction & absorbing of skills from different players. At IBAK, we pride ourselves in providing for this platform across various age & categories by regularly conducting high quality tournaments, spread over the entire tourmament which include tournaments purely for IBAK members, those between other club members in the form of the Kuwait Badminton League, international exposure by bringing in world class players during the prestigious Kuwait Badminton Challenge (KBC) which is one of the flagship achievements of IBAK and a tourmament which is much sought after by international players.
