KDD-KBL 9th Edition by IBAK

The much-awaited badminton event of Kuwait “KUWAIT BADMINTON LEAGUE 2024” is poised to start from 26th Sep 2024 at IBAK Salwa in its 9th Edition. KDD is the title sponsor for this mega event. The Tournament will be inaugurated on Thursday 26th Sep 2024 Evening at 6 PM. The tournament is scheduled for 4 days (26,27 Sep & 3,4 Oct 2024).

Kuwait Badminton League is a team event which will be conducted across 5 categories in which hundreds of players from different clubs are expected to participate.

Tournament will showcase badminton in the categories like : 1 Professional Doubles (Men), 1 Open Doubles (Men), 1 Advanced Doubles (Men), 1 Higher Intermediate (Men) and 1 Mixed Doubles.

The captain auction was held at Saad Al Awzi School (IBAK Gym) on 9th Sep 2024.The six teams which will compete each other are THANJAI NINJAS led by Dr.Manimara Chozhan, SHUTTLE STINGERS led by Mr.Abdul Jabbar, TEAM 5.30 led by Mr.Hissam Ezzi, ROYAL STARS led by Mr. Harsad, USC led by Mr.Maheshwaran and ISA led by Mr.Roshan Sojan.

Auction for the players took place on 13th Sep 2024 at IBAK Gym. Owners and Captains showed lot of enthusiasm and were very calculative in selecting their respective team players. Mr.Sreenvas was the auctioneer and the auction was supported by Mr. Bobby, Mr.Tony Joe Raj, Mr. Abdul Latheef, Mr. Arun, Mr. Kareem, Mr. Ajay Kumar, Mr. Subin varghese and Mr.Abul Hassan. It was a well-coordinated effort by KBL committee members who ensured the arrangements were done perfectly.
